2. For my challenge, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and network with some higher-ups at the startup that I am interning at. Although I have direct connecting with the founders/CEOs of the company, the startup offers mentors who work at key tech companies like Google, Apple, NVIDIA, etc. I introduced myself to these professionals and shared a bit about my interests/experience in business and engineering. I now have their guidance to further my career interests.
3. This process pushed me out of my comfort zone to network with higher-ups. Initially, I was hesitant because I thought I wasn’t “smart” enough to talk to these accomplished individuals. However, by completing this challenge I learned that these mentors are there to help you and they are open to sharing their experiences.
