2. Task/Challenge:
For my challenge, I decided to cold email a UX researcher at a company I admire to request a virtual coffee chat. I wanted to learn more about her career path, how she transitioned from academia to industry, and what advice she had for aspiring UX researchers like me.
3. Reflection:
The process pushed me outside my comfort zone since I’m usually hesitant to reach out to professionals I don’t know. However, I found that being genuine and intentional made the interaction rewarding — I gained valuable insights and more confidence in initiating professional connections.
