Hi, thanks for listening. Our company, Nintendo Playing Card Co., makes traditional playing cards… basically like the ones people already use. There’s nothing particularly new about them, except some nice drawings that most people won’t really notice. We’ll sell them in a few local shops in Kyoto and hope word-of-mouth somehow spreads. We don’t really have a marketing plan, a clear target customer, or any vision beyond ‘more cards.’ If you invest, well… you’ll at least know we tried.
Hi, I’m from Nintendo, and we’re building the future of play starting with one simple object: a deck of cards. Our beautifully designed, durable cards are made to bring families, friends, and co-workers around the same table—creating repeatable, social moments of joy. But the cards are just our prototype. By studying how people actually play, we’ll turn those insights into new game systems, characters, and eventually interactive experiences that move from tables to arcades and screens. You’re not investing in a small card factory; you’re investing in a scalable entertainment company that evolves with every new way people play.
