For my act of kindness, I decided to help out around my apartment by taking care of some chores that are usually shared between everyone. I cleaned the common areas, took out the trash, and made sure the kitchen was organized so that my roommates could come home to a cleaner space without having to worry about it themselves. It was a small gesture, but it made me realize that kindness does not always have to involve a big action or a planned event. Sometimes, it means noticing what needs to be done and doing it without being asked. I also realized that living with other people requires paying attention to how your actions affect them. This experience made me think about the kind of leader I want to be: someone who notices problems, takes responsibility, and makes things easier for the people around them without expecting recognition in return.
