For my act of kindness, I decided to focus on creating bridges between ecosystems that could truly benefit from greater connection. In my deep tech commercialization course, I encountered programs and approaches that I felt Korean companies, both large corporations and SMEs, should know more about. I took the initiative to introduce these programs to relevant Korean stakeholders, hoping that meaningful synergies could emerge across borders.
Additionally, I recognized that some pre-IPO companies were seeking to connect with both global and domestic capital. I facilitated introductions between a European fund and a Korean fund, opening pathways for collaboration that might not have been possible otherwise. In these cases, I did not simply participate passively; I took a leading role in driving the conversations and ensuring that the right people and opportunities aligned.
Through this act, I wanted to reflect the kind of innovator and leader I aspire to become, someone who not only works hard but also ensures that others who are equally committed and diligent can succeed. By enabling better access, resources, and partnerships, my hope is that people and companies doing important work can do even better.
