The best way to get your dream job is to shortcut your way to the “person with the ref button,” I.e. the person who’s making the important decisions about hiring (recruiter, partner, or otherwise). The best way to do this is to network and have someone who has a personal or professional connection to the person with the red button give you a warm introduction to the person with the red button.
2. I liked Gorick’s personal anecdotes and stories, and also the free flash cards for participation!
3. I’m not struggling with a recruiting challenge currently, but I wanted to sharpen my recruiting skills if and when I decided to apply for a new job in the future and this session definitely helped with that.
