1) I asked a random stranger to edit my essay for an internship application.
2) a. I learned that my assumption that people are more willing to help and trust when you have things in common (ex. going to the same university and applying to internships) is true, at least in this case.
b. I was very surprised with how much time and effort he was willing to put into going over and editing my essay.
c. This reveals that communities can truly facilitate an environment where there is strong trust.
