Friend or Foe _ Bailey Paquette

a. I learned that when the acquaintance was a little bit late on completing the task, I assumed they just weren’t going to do it or that they forgot. I assumed that since they don’t really know me, they don’t owe me any reason to commit to staying on top of it, and following through.
b. Yes, the acquaintance surprised me positively, since though I assumed she wouldn’t text me, she did only a couple minutes late!
c. I think this reveals that judge of character means a lot, and if your gut tells you that you can trust someone, then believe it! There is no reason to doubt someone if they have not given you a reason to. I think this can also be applied to teams, ventures and communities because though you may not know those around you directly, collaborating and working together should instill a degree of respect, and with that trust, between the two/group of you.
