The event was great, it was a great way to connect with new people and to listen to cool pitches. As discussed with Milo after the event, we can see who has more of a business or engineer background based on how they pitch because business people have had some public speaking classes and know that you should really engage with your audience, whereas engineering students were really fact-based and read a lot their pitch, making it less “attractive” to the audience even if their projects were awesome.
I also enjoyed a lot talking to Jannes about his project concerning how to have healthy and fast food made by a robot directly at your workplace (it is the person who made us all scan a QR code to get in the waitlist to get a free meal), also how he pitched and his idea of the waiting line for free meals is a great way to engage with people.
