It was a great experience. I’ve met a SCET student who is here for the year. He was French so we spoke together in French. I loved hearing the pitches and seeing all my peers’ enthusiasm. I have also met a first year PhD student who was from Canada and who quitted his job in nanotechnology to get his PhD here at Berkeley.
