What is your major and which class did you attend? Why did you choose that class?
My major is applied mathematics and economics. I attended data 100. I have a few friends in this class who talk about how interesting it is so I was wanting to see what it was like!
What lesson(s) did you take away from this class that could be applied to your current area of focus?
This class was a lot of problem solving and was like solving puzzles. As a math major I am constantly solving problems that are like puzzles. This class gave me a new outlook on how to approach the problem from a more granular level, similar to hope you would fix a problem in the code. While this may not work all the time it might be a good thing for me to do if I am stuck on a problem.
