1. I’m a Computer Science major, and I attended a SCET class on market entrepreneurship. I was available, and a friend had already been taking the class, so I thought it would be cool to join.
2. The lessons I learned from this class alone are that there are so many places to meet people and create ideas. Whether it be a simple cold outreach to find an advisor or a simple coffee chat, there are so many ways to share ideas with others. In my own current area of focus, I’m interested in the startup world, bridging both computer science and business together. It’s sometimes difficult to share some of my ideas, so knowing and understanding that it doesn’t have to be a complex thing like an interview, but rather something simple to chat over in a casual setting was really nice!
