It was a great experience learning from both student founders who are already running real companies and more senior CEOs who have been through multiple stages of growth. Hearing how they approach sales and marketing gave me a much clearer picture of what it actually takes to win customers, especially when selling to businesses. One of the key lessons that stood out was how crucial warm connections are in the B2B world, since trust and credibility matter so much when pitching a product that impacts operations or security. These conversations showed me that success often comes from building genuine relationships, staying close to customer needs, and not being afraid to reach out for help from people who believe in what you are creating.
