Attend a Class Outside your Major _ Jacky Li

I attended Sustainable Food Production class with the SCET department. It was not in my major but I feel like I’ve learned so much from it. The reason why I chose that class was because the topics seem so pertinent and intriguing as it is related to natural food coloring. And I’ve found out that even natural coloring may cost significantly higher than synthetic coloring, their market potential is huge. So many eateries and food production companies are now emphasising on sustainability, and this momentum keeps growing into the coloring industry, when we, as consumers, have been paying more for safe and natural ingredients than ever before.
