Attend a Class Outside your Major _ Cathy Nguyen

One of the classes I am taking is outside of my major. It is called Italian Neorealism 70ac, which fulfills my American Cultures requirement. However, I originally chose this class because the course description mentioned narrating the lives of everyday people through films, which I thought was insightful and very important, as we often see the “perfect” lives of people on social media. The class is still ongoing, but so far, I’ve learned a lot about different people’s cultures and their perspectives on being on the other side of many, potentially harmful, stereotypes.
