My knowledge about fungi is very basic, but I learned about mycorrhiza in my environmental science class and was simply fascinated by the symbiotic relationship between fungi and trees. I‘m also interested in biomimicry and think there is a lot to learn from fungi. For example I recently read about a fungi in the Amazon forest that is able to break down plastic.
