At the Life After Berkeley event, I met a recent SCET alum who is currently building an AI-driven productivity startup. We talked about how their idea went through multiple pivots during their time at Berkeley and how staying flexible rather than being overly attached to one solution ultimately helped them find real product-market fit. Meeting them showed me that the entrepreneurial journey isn’t linear and that curiosity, humility, and consistent experimentation matter more than having a “perfect” idea from the start.
