About SCET Innovation Fellows
SCET Innovation Fellows is powered by UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCET). It offers students across campus the opportunity to explore real-world challenges, collaborate with peers, and earn recognition through the Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship. The program is entirely student-led, designed by students and for students.
The program gamifies learning and innovation. You’ll tackle real challenges from startups, faculty, and industry partners—developing entrepreneurial skills in the process. Each challenge earns you points, and the most engaged Fellows are eligible for recognition and exclusive prizes. Whether you’re looking to build your resume, explore entrepreneurship, or make new connections, the program meets you where you are.

How I got involved:
I joined my first year at Cal after realizing how theoretical my classes were. I was hoping to get practical and real world knowledge when it came to the business side of engineering. I stayed because of how awesome the fellow program was and seeing how much it has grown.

How I got involved:
SCET holds a special place in my journey. The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and Newton Changemaker Series shaped my understanding of innovation and inspired me to join the Student Fellows program. My entrepreneurial path, though, started long before Berkeley. At nine years old, I turned my love of dance into a garage-based camp for younger girls in my neighborhood. I created flyers, knocked on doors, and pitched the camp with the confidence of someone who had nothing to lose. When the first sign-ups rolled in, I wasn’t just excited—I was hooked. Designing marketing materials, building a website, and selling door-to-door ignited a passion that still drives me today.
That same spirit is present in every role I take on, from launching initiatives to building communities. Entrepreneurship is truly in my blood, and even though I’m not currently pursuing a startup, I have a deep passion for being surrounded by creative, out-of-the-box thinkers. SCET provides the perfect environment for that energy, and I’m grateful to be part of it.

I’m certified in children’s yoga!
